Apostle Edwin ‘Von’ Newsome is the Founder and Senior Visionary Leader of Impact Church Goldsboro in the city of Goldsboro, NC.  He also was the founder and former Senior Pastor of Spirit-Filled Family Worship Center (SFFWC), Goldsboro NC along with his wife, Dr. Catherine Newsome. They founded SFFWC in October 1993, and their pastoral experience paved the way for the birthing of Impact Church Goldsboro (ICG) in November 2016. 

 

In 2013, Edwin & Catherine Newsome Ministries was founded, a non-profit organization with ministries geared towards empowering men, women, families, relationships, and marriages.  These ministries include The Marriage Clinic and ManUp Mentoring & Empowerment.  

 

He is a Licensed Real Estate Broker with an ‘entrepreneurial’ grace on his life.  This grace will provide the motivation to carry out the Redemption “Buy Back & Build up” Community Development Project, which will revitalize distressed areas in the city of Goldsboro.

Edwin 'Von' Newsome was born and raised in Goldsboro; therefore, he has a vested interest in seeing his city reach its full potential.  He is the proud husband of Dr. Catherine, his wife who is also his partner in Marriage, Ministry & Business. They are the proud parents of Edwin Devon Jr., Kayla-Joy Jones (James), and Emmanuel.

 

He is committed and dedicated to the mandate of God on his life to "Build People, Impact the City of Goldsboro (and surrounding areas) & Advance the Kingdom of God".
